On January 10, the emblem and mascot of the China 2019 World Stamp Exhibition were unveiled in Wuhan, capital of central China’s Hubei Province, sending an invitation to the world.
The emblem consists of an origami pigeon and the Yellow Crane Tower. The W-shaped pigeon stands for two English words, namely, world and Wuhan.
The mascot, named “Bin Bin” (斌斌), incorporates “culture”(文) and “military”(武), referring to the World Stamp Exhibition and the 7th CISM Military World Games, respectively.
The China 2019 World Stamp Exhibition is scheduled to be held at the Wuhan International Expo Center from June 11-17, 2019, with the total number of exhibits reaching 3,500, which will attract philatelists from more than 80 countries and regions.
